About

Alec Barth is a freelance filmmaker, producer and colorist. 

​

He studied fine arts at the ABK Stuttgart and lives and works between Baden-Württemberg and Berlin. In his color grading studio studio.cinea.st he focusses on coloring award-winning short and feature films.

​

Together with Sina Ataeian Dena he co-founded the production company counterintuitive film. Their first feature film "Critical Zone" was awarded with the golden Leopard in Locarno, travelled many international festivals and was released in cinemas in more then 10 countries.
